I'm not running for me. I'm running for the kid in sixth grade who doesn't know what he wants to be yet but knows college isn't for him. I'm running for the young couple who both work hard, do everything right, and still can't afford to buy a home in the county they grew up in. I'm running for the next generation of Southern Marylanders who deserve leadership that actually understands the world they're inheriting.

We don't need to send the same thinking to a new room. We need new thinking, period!

Why JW

Systems Mindset

Most politicians tell you what they are going to do. I have already done it.

I left a lucrative government contracting career in IT and cybersecurity because our school system needed real technology leadership, and I had the expertise to help.

Local SOMD Realtor

I also bring that same real-world perspective to housing and affordability as a working REALTOR in St. Mary's & Calvert County every single day. I am not studying the housing crisis from a distance. I am sitting across the table from it.

Helping our Kids

I also serve as President of the GMHS Band Boosters, not because it helps my resume, but because I believe in showing up for this community in every way I can. I am not new to Southern Maryland and I am not new to getting things done here.

Real Talk

I am not becoming someone different by running for office. I am just being more visible about who I already am. Anyone who has interacted with me in my personal life or professional life can already attest to that.
